Suzy Rankin Rudroff

After high school I got very heavily into dance and was lucky enough to travel around the world on various dance tours. Since 1981 I've lived in Iraq, Japan, Bonn - Germany, Deggendorf - Germany, came back shortly to Portland in 2001 and have been living in Broomfield, Colorado for the last 7 years. We love it here!

My oldest daughter, Jessica, is a senior at CSU and just got engaged to her long time boyfriend. We are so excited to start planning her wedding. My middle child, Dina, is a freshman at CSU and studying engineering. She's an amazing singer and I cry every time I see her on stage belting out a song! The girls share an apartment in Ft. Collins just 45 min north of Denver. My little guy, Tyler, is just turned 11 and is an avid soccer player. His dad was a semi-professional soccer player for many years in Germany and he's definitely following in his dads footsteps!

My mom passed away unexpectedly this last December after a very intense ICU stay at Mt. Hood Medical Center. My entire family is still in shock from it. Watching a parent die in the way that she did is probably the hardest thing I've ever been through!

I've not been to any of our reunions yet so I'm very excited to go to this one and see everyone again. I've recently connected with old SMA friends and it's been so fun catching up! Seeing you all in person will be awesome!
