Mollyanne Conroy Sherman

After St Mary's Graduation I went to work at Equitable Savings & Loan just a few blocks from the school. I never thought I would go to college since academics were not my strong suit. However, after receiving information from two Design Colleges I decided that was a path that appealed to me.
I moved to Sacramento to attend Bauder College for a degree in Interior Design. After completing the program I moved to the Sa Francisco Bay Area and began pursuing work in the Design Field. My Focus became Kitchen & Bath Design in which I developed the basic knowledge of Remodeling and Construction I had been exposed to in my youth from my Dad.
I built a successful career in Kitchen, Bath and Interior Space Planning. I've earned Certification in Kitchen, Bath and Interior Design and well as Green Building. I have been published and recognized for Excellence in Design and served in Local and National positions for the National Kitchen & Bath Association (NKBA) It has been 25 years and I currently have my own design practice. MAC Design in Newark, California. I have a focus on sustainability and serve clients throughout the bay area.
UPDATE 2-4-19: MAC Design moved from my house to a commercial studio space in Fremont almost six years ago.

I also teach Kitchen & Bath Design at a local College and about half a dozen of my former student have also won design awards in the student category of the National Design Competition conducted by the NKBA.
I spent many years dating on both sides of the fence and finally married, Scott in 1998. We have a Son named Eddie.

Update: 12-2009
One of my projects was featured on HGTV. My Husband Scott and I presented our Master Bath renovation and HGTV Design David Bromstad told us what he thought of the project. Although I don't agree with much of his comments, it was a fun experience.
